5. Garnet tsavorite
Tsavorite Garnet is a rare East African gem that has started to rival emerald as the most valuable of the green gemstones. Tsavorite, unlike emerald, is never treated and has a greater refractive index than emerald, giving it additional brightness.
Tsavorite stones larger than 2 carats are very uncommon, and beautiful stones larger than 4 carats are extremely rare. The colours vary from a strong chrome green to a mint green.
6. Garnet Spessartite
Manganese-colored Spessartite Garnet is a brilliant orange garnet. The best specimens, known in the trade as Mandarin Garnet, are a bright orange that is one of the most vibrant hues in the gemstone industry.
Pure orange specimens are very uncommon and are mostly found in Africa, namely Nigeria and Namibia. Large, clear stones are quite expensive and have a lot of brightness.
7.Alexandrite
Alexandrite is a rare chrysoberyl prized by collectors for its dramatic colour shift and high toughness (8.5 on the Mohs scale).
The earliest examples of Alexandrite were found in Russia, and Russian specimens are very rare and expensive. Today, the best alexandrite originates from Brazil, with Tanzania providing medium-grade material.
8. jadeite
Imperial Jade is a fine transparent emerald-green jadeite. This unique diamond can only be discovered in Burma (Myanmar) and is highly sought after by collectors all over the globe, particularly in Asia.
Type A jadeite is unprocessed genuine Burmese jadeite with a completely natural hue. Only verified jadeite of this grade is considered investment-worthy.
9. Topaz Imperial
The rarest topaz, imperial topaz, is found in the Ouro Prêto region of Minas Gerais. The hue of this topaz ranges from golden-orange to orange to pink, pinkish-red, or violet.
The colour should be entirely natural, with no heat or other techniques used to enhance it. The most expensive stones have a tinge of pink or red, with a pure red natural topaz being exceptional.
